Purpose
Welcome to our little blog! I started writing when I moved to Montana with my husband because I wanted a place to document the adventures we embark on while we live here, and I wanted to share my experiences as a modern homemaker.

Laundry and Dishes is a lifestyle blog I share with my husband. It includes the knowledge and wisdom we have gained as newlyweds trying to live a traditional lifestyle in the modern world.
Our Story
I grew up in a small town in Alaska and moved to New Mexico for college.
My husband grew up in a small town in New Mexico and and was already attending the college I decided to go to.
We met one day in a class that both of us were taking and the rest is history.
We dated for about a year and when he popped the question of course I said yes!
About a year later we got married at White Sands, New Mexico on the 3rd anniversary of our first date.
Our honeymoon was driving to Montana where my husband had gotten a job as a Construction Engineer on an Indian Reservation about 50 miles from the Canadian border and there in a two bedroom basement-house the adventure of traditional homemaking in a modern age began.
We have since moved to a town that actually has a Walmart! Phew!
We recently bought a house, adopted a kitten and puppy, and are expacting our first little girl in March 2020.
